If Michelle has learned anything from listening to Rush, it’s that sometimes, you just have to Fly by Night and do what you love. Music and pop culture have always been an enormous influence on her work, so it was no surprise when she began her design career as an intern in the creative department at Capitol Records.

She later accepted a position at Samuels Advertising, where her internship experience was put to good use with clients such as Rhino Records, Warner Music Group, and Shout! Factory.

At present, she occupies herself as a freelance graphic designer. Her current projects include I. Spiewak & Sons, John Paul Mitchell Systems, Film Independent, Comcast Networks, and Mistress Creative.

Michelle’s award-winning aesthetic has gained her much
recognition. Last year, she was named a featured designer on Design:Related. Next month, she looks forward to being published in the upcoming book, Cult Streetwear.
